Liturgy and Lunch at St Faith's

For the second time this year, there being five Sundays in the month, we continued the new initiative
launched at the end of May (click HERE to see how that went) whereby the two congregations of
the United Benefice come together for three hours of worship, fellowship and food.

Some 80 of us sat down to the Eucharist and the repast which followed it, and,
as before, it proved to be a very special and very rewarding occasion.
For Dora and Bert Whitehead of St Mary's, it was a special way
of marking their imminent 60th wedding anniversary!
