The 2007

United Benefice
Senior Citizens'
Christmas Dinner

Every year, the more mature members of our congregation are invited to a Christmas Dinner in Saint Faith's Church Hall.

This year, over 70 of the over-70s sat down for the usual three-course blow-out, prepared in our kitchen - and the kitchens of  various members of the congregation around the parish -
and served by
a gallant band of helpers. During the course of the meal, your photographer did the round of the tables, asklng everyone to look happy (and to produce their bus passes!).
Members of the Ministry Team
(clergy and readers) asked him to make it clear that they were present by virtue of position rather than years,
although one or two weren't that far off the qualifying age...

After a carol sing-song it was time for carriages (or motorised zimmers) and it was left for Father Christmas to lend a hand with the clearing up.
