Images from the High Mass on October 5th, 2010,
the Eve of the Feast Day of Saint Faith, Virgin and Martyr

As has been the tradition for many years now, the occasion was marked with high solemnity,
colourful ceremonial and a variety of celebratory music. A special feature this year was a performance
of Bob Chilcott's 'A Little Jazz Mass' sung by our choir and backed by a trioof jazz musicians.
The inspiring sermon (text linked here) was preached by the Very Reverend Peter Atkinson,
Dean of Worcester, and Fr Neil was assisted at the altar by ordinand Stephen Holt and Fr Iain McCormack.

Not shown below is the traditional extended 'bunfight' (and of course wine tasting)
which rounded off a splendid evening)
