Holiday Club
Happenings

First pictures of
the fun and games
at the 2010 Children's
Summer Holiday Club
at St Mary's

Children between the ages 5 and 11 attended the St. Mary’s, Waterloo Park club
where the theme was “Super Heroes”

The children enjoyed several sessions of practical craft work, an afternoon of sports and a visit to
Tam ’O’ Shanter’s Farm in Bidston, Wirral where the windmill was specially opened for the afternoon.
Other highlights of the week included a magic show from John Harding and a visit to Blackpool Zoo.
On the final day, there was a service in Church and the children showed their parents
many of the things they had been doing over the previous five days.
A great week was rounded off with an early evening disco and barbecue (in the light rain)!

The events were generously supported by Sefton Council and our Church is indebted to Merchant Taylors’ School,
and all of the volunteers who willingly gave their time to give a lot of children a wonderful week.
